Celtic are big news. Good copy, and invariably when a lot is written on a subject a fair degree of it will be wrong.

Now, when we read or hear things on Celtic that are wrong we all have a tendency just to let it wash over us, just to let it go. This is particularly the case if you have the great misfortune to be exposed to the Scottish media, or to give it its correct name, 'Bollocks'.

We at the WLCSC have the great privilege of not being exposed to this said, 'Bollocks', except on the odd occasion when we find an old Daily Rectum on the Tube.

However, there are a few occasions when we read or hear comments from those that should really know better, and its these occasions that raise the hackles and make you want to do something about it.

Below are a couple of recent occasions when members have gotten off their fat arses, and hackles raised, fired off a complaint.

I'm sure this list will grow as the months pass....
Panorama - Scotland's Secret Shame, Sunday, 27 February 2005.

After the mauling the BBC took at the Hutton inquiry you really would think they would have gotten their act together. Apparently not. This, 'both as bad as each other', clichéd rubbish had big Pat hot under the collar, and that's not just because it clashed with his favourite programme Desperate Housewives. Thankfully, for all concerned, he just fired off a letter rather than storming off up to White City………….

David Mellor - Evening Standard, Friday, 11 March 2005.

If you had to spend eternity with somebody who would it be? Kylie Minogue? Caprice perhaps? Personally I've always had a thing for Cindi Lauper (yes, I am that old). Well Greener would choose David Mellor. Why? Because he has a face you would never tire of slapping, especially after calling Celtic fans bigots due to our dislike of Petit Merdes proposed appearance in an Auld Old Firm game……….

Hillingdon Times - Monday, 23rd February, 2004

As well as attempting to put the media straight on Celtic matters the WLCSC have featured in the local London Media. Last year, 2004, our charity of choice was Mencap, and after assisting a local charity, a local paper had this to say……..
